Cheryl and Eric Dearmon have gifted two public art sculptures, “Smiley” and “Discover” to the City of Kannapolis. A section of a Rowan County road is scheduled to close next week while a culvert that runs under it is replaced. Reeves Island Road is set to close just south of Old Beatty Ford Road from 8 a.m. June 7 through 3:30 p.m. June 11.
