Kannapolis Police Department is proud to announce that Officer Matthew Hoehman has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant assigned to Patrol Squad B.  Hoehman began his career with Kannapolis Police Department as a Patrol Officer in 2014. City of Kannapolis offices will be closed Friday, April 2, in observance of the Easter Holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, April 5. Garbage and recycling services will operate on a regular schedule. There will be no yard debris collection on Friday. It will be collected on a regular schedule the following week. As warmer weather approaches, the Village Park Carousel will operate on a limited schedule. The carousel will be open from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., every Saturday, and noon-6 p.m., every Sunday, beginning this Saturday, April 3.
