We're excited about a new piece of public art in Kannapolis.

Sculptor Charles Pilkey has gifted Rowan Cabarrus Community College a piece of his art. 

The large indoor sculpture, The Architect’s Dream, has been installed at the Dr. Carol S. Spalding Advanced Technology Center on the N.. Research Campus in Kannapolis.

Pilkey, a longtime participant in the Salisbury Sculpture Show whose work has been featured on the RCCC campus before, donated the piece ahead of his relocation to Japan.

The sculpture adds to RCCC's growing collection of public art and reflects an ongoing commitment to creativity, culture and community partnerships.

The public is welcome to visit the campus and view the sculpture.
