♻️RECYCLING ALERT♻️: Over the last few months, recycling carts in the City have been approximately 20% contaminated. This means we are not recycling properly and the carts are contaminated with trash. Entire truckloads are being rejected by our recycling vendors and then must go to the landfill as trash. Loop the Loop is a series of loops around downtown Kannapolis and Kannapolis School facilities that people can walk, bike or run. Count your miles and you can win prizes. The City of Kannapolis has added two sculptures to its public arts program. “LOVE” has been installed at the Kannapolis Train Station on Main Street.
