It’s time to hit the court! The City of Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for Youth Basketball for children ages 3-15. Registration is open through October 26. 

Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or ready to sharpen their skills, Youth Basketball is a great way to stay active, build confidence, learn teamwork and have fun this winter. 

Registration is $50 for Kannapolis residents and $75 for non-residents and includes uniforms, practices and games. Participants are required to provide their own athletic shoes. 

Scholarships are available to help make sure every child has the opportunity to play. The City is also seeking volunteer coaches and community sponsors to help make this season a success. 

Practices will begin the week of December 6, with practices and games primarily held in Kannapolis City Schools gym facilities.
