The City of Kannapolis offices will be closed Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Offices will reopen on November 12. There will be no delay in the collection of garbage and recycling. Wednesday’s yard debris and loose-leaf collection will be delayed until the following week. The City of Kannapolis is accepting upset bids for property on Oak Avenue. The city-owned property includes 230, 234, 242, 246 and 250 Oak Avenue. The properties currently have two tenants, including Pizza Hut, and is suitable for office and commercial space.
