Rowan County Public Health is excited to share that starting on Monday, January 11th, we will be entering into the Phase 1b/Mass Vaccination Phase for Group 1. This vaccination phase will include all individuals 75 years of age and older, regardless of health status or living situation, and any remaining Phase 1A eligible individuals. The Cabarrus Health Alliance will host multiple drive-through clinics for the COVID-19 vaccine, with the next being Saturday, January 2, 2021. The clinics will be at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center, located at 4751 NC-49, Concord, NC 28025. The City of Kannapolis has added two sculptures to its public arts program. “LOVE” has been installed at the Kannapolis Train Station on Main Street. The ten-foot steel sculpture simply spells out the word, “LOVE.” It has been purposefully aged to give it a sense of time and place in the historic downtown.
