There will be no garbage/recycling service tomorrow, Monday, January 17. Collection will be on a one day delay this week.   We really appreciate everyone staying off the roads. At this point we have not had any vehicle accidents since the storm started which is wonderful! A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel. The City of Kannapolis offices will be closed Monday, January 17, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Offices will reopen on January 18. There will be no delay in the collection of garbage, recycling, bulky waste, or e-waste.   Yard debris and loose-leaf collection will not be collected on Monday, January 17, but will be collected on your next regularly scheduled day. Tuesday-Friday collection of loose leaves and yard waste will operate on a regular schedule.
