11 a.m. Mable St. reopened. West 22nd and Cadillac reamin closed.  10 a.m. All streets are open in the City except for: Mable, West 22nd and Cadillac. Cabarrus and Rowan Counties remain under a Flood Watch from now until Thursday, June 22. This means that flash flooding may occur at anytime due to the excessive rainfall that is occurring in Kannapolis and the region. Four inches of rain is possible between now and Thursday. The City of Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Department will open registration for Youth Flag Football on June 14. Registration will close July 31. Children must be between the ages of 5-15 to participate. The registration fee is $40 for Kannapolis residents and $60 for non-residents, which includes the cost of uniforms, practices, and games.
