A Kannapolis Christmas returns this holiday season with events that have become treasured family traditions in the region. The official kick off will be the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony & Celebration of Lights at 6 p.m., Saturday, November 18. Area municipalities will cohost “Bridges Out of Poverty”, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on November 9 at the Laureate Center in Kannapolis.  This free workshop will provide professionals and communities with strategies on how to build bridges that result in bringing people out of poverty.
