Work is underway on the Kannapolis Streetscape and Infrastructure Project. Construction crews will be installing duct banks to allow power lines to go underground as a part of this downtown revitalization work. This work will necessitate the closure of portions of Main Street in January. From about Jan 2-8, Main Street will be closed between about Vance and East C St (206 S. Main St).
