The Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational programs and events throughout the year, including trips and athletic leagues.

Registration for Programs

ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW AVAILABLE

NOTE: Most programs require a completed program registration form.  While many are free, some do have a participation fee. You may register in person, by phone or by mail.To register by mail, send your completed program form and any payment required to: Kannapolis Parks and Recreation, 401 Laureate Way, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Please make checks payable to “City of Kannapolis.” 

Many of programs are currently available for on-line registration. If you would like to register on-line for a program, click on the link in the program description and you will be re-directed to a new page for registration. If no link is present, then on-line registration is not available.  Please call our office to register by phone or for more information.

Champions in Motion Youth Cheerleading

Ages 4-6: 6-6:45pm
Ages 7-9: 6:45-7:30pm
Ages 10-18: 7:30-8:15pm

December 18, 2025.  Registration Required.

'Tis the season to get creative! Join us for a festive evening of fun as you design your own holiday centerpiece using fresh evergreen, berries, pinecones, and holiday accents. Perfect for your dining table or as a heartfelt gift-no experience needed!  Cost is $71 per person.  Register here.
