Volunteer to Coach
We need your help!! Potential coaches must be 18 years or older, complete a coach’s application, pass a criminal background check, and sign the Coach's Code of Conduct. Approved coaches must attend a mandatory coaches meeting (may be virtual or required to watch a video) and will be given a photo ID Coach badge. Coaches are required to wear their ID badges at all practices and games. Completion of paperwork does not guarantee a coaching position.
Practices & Games
Coaches will contact players after team assignments between March 15-17. Please allow volunteer coaches time to contact each participant before contacting our office.
Practices for the 5-6 age group and above will begin the week of March 18. Teams will have one hour practices once a week.
Games will be played on Saturdays from April 6 through June 1.
Depending on schedules and field availability, some weeknight games may be necessary. Practices and games will be played at Kannapolis Parks–primarily Safrit Park– and Kannapolis City Schools. Nearby Cabarrus County schools or additional facilities may be utilized if registration numbers dictate that a particular division play countywide.
The Instructional 3-4 program will begin Saturday, April 6 and be held on Saturdays only. Instructional parents will be contacted the week of April 1 with team assignments and practice/game times.
