Road Closure Alert: Saturday, August 8 

 
Heads up, Kannapolis! 

West Avenue from Cannon Baller Way to Vance Street will be closed August 8 for activities happening in the downtown.

West A Street, from Loop Road to West B Street, will be closed during the following times on Saturday, August 8:
🚧 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
🚧 10:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

Residents who live in the area will be able to access their homes. 
 
The City will be busy this weekend with several events, and a concert.
 
Are you ready for Andy Grammer with Walk Off the Earth? The concert will begin at 7 p.m., this Saturday, August 8. 🎶🌟
 
The City offers two free and convenient shuttle options for concertgoers and visitors. 

1?? Hop aboard one of the two West Ave Express Shuttles.
🕛 Shuttles run from 5 - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
📍Pick up locations: NC Research Campus parking deck, top of the horseshoe, First Baptist Church rear access and the intersection of West Ave. and Cannon Baller Way near the Bank Food Hall.
 
2?? Take a ride on the Village Park Concert Shuttle.
🕛Shuttle runs from 5 - 11 p.m. this Saturday.
📍Pick up locations: Nova Credit Union Overflow Lot, Cabarrus Health Alliance, City Hall, Village Park and the NCRC Parking Deck.
