Kannapolis has launched a refreshed website that focuses on a user friendly experience. The website is easier to navigate for Kannapolis residents, businesses, and visitors. Technology has been added to make the site mobile, tablet and desktop devices. “The way the public searches for City information online has drastically changed over the last few years and our website needs to be fast and easy for people to find information,” said Director of Communications Annette Privette Keller.

The website will always be a work in progress and new features and information will be added constantly. “Research shows that people want convenience. They want choices. Our citizens can still visit us in person and call us but they also want improved easier options to email us or pay their bills online,” continued Privette Keller. “We are working to ensure that our website is good customer experience and welcomes people to our City. We want you to be able to go to our site and quickly find the information you need to do business with us.”

There is a news, events and meetings calendar on the homepage of the site so people can quickly find current information on the City. Services you can complete online include signing up for commercial garbage and recycling, receive and pay bills, request information from fire and police and more. In the next few months additional website capabilities such as signing up for a park shelter, water service and online portal to monitor your water consumption.

It is now easier to sign up for City news, emergency alerts and updates from the City social media outlets on Facebook and Twitter.
