Join the Friends of Kannapolis Library and the City of Kannapolis from 12 – 4 p.m., this Saturday, August 4, at The Laureate Center, Kannapolis City Hall, 401 Laureate Way, as they celebrate local authors. This free event is an opportunity for authors to showcase their work, discuss and sell their books, and connect with other authors and the community.
Each author will be on a panel during the event to discuss different writing topics. At 1 p.m., authors will discuss issues/opportunities with self-publishing. At 2 p.m., authors will discuss social media and marketing. The final panel will be at 3 p.m., where authors will offer writing tips and tricks.
The local authors who will be present at this event are Crystal Brown, Susan Roddey, Bradly Williams, Melissa McArthur, Leann Rettell, Patrick Dugan, Tia Capers, John Hartness, Jordon Greene, Alexandra Christian, Tally Johnson, Alberto Perez, Yesenia Hernandez, Jason Gilbert, James Nettles, and Nicole Givens Kurtz.
