KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Discover Fun in Kannapolis returns this summer with an incredible lineup of great concerts, movies, and of course, fireworks. Events will be held from April to September. All events are free to the public.
We have a fantastic lineup of concerts this summer. Beginning with Country Superstar Craig Morgan who will perform Friday night, May 3, at the Jiggy Festival.
We will welcome Night Ranger, The Spinners, the Gin Blossoms, and break out your boogie shoes for the infamous KC and the Sunshine Band. We will have a country doubleheader weekend in July with Pam Tillis and Tracy Byrd. Our patriotic tradition of celebrating with the Charlotte Symphony continues this year on June 29 with fireworks following the concert.
Thursdays on Main featuring your favorite beach music groups returns along with Stories Under the Stars, a free family entertainment series, and family fun movies in Village Park.

Other events in Kannapolis to enjoy in 2024 include the Run Kannapolis 5K Series, Gem Theatre Summer Movie Matinees, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Baseball Games (www.milb.com/kannapolis), the Kannapolis Farmers Market, Christmas Events and much more.
Children 18 & under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs. No pets or smoking please. Food and drinks will be on sale in the parks during the events. Outside food and nonalcoholic drinks are permitted. Coolers are subject to inspection.
