All City of Kannapolis offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Garbage and recycling collection services will run on its normal schedule.
The Splash Pad at Village Park will be open thru Labor Day and will be closed beginning September 8. Boomer’s Splash Zone at Atrium Health Ballpark remains open to children from 9 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. daily.
Playgrounds will open at 5 p.m. today and will remain open Village Park, Safrit Park, Bakers Creek Park and Atrium Health Ballpark per N.C. Executive Order 163. Registration is open for adult softball leagues. COVID restrictions will be in place.
