Cannon Ballers Homestand | Atrium Health Ballpark | July 8 - July 13

Head on down to Atrium Health Ballpark this week to cheer on your Kannapolis Cannon Ballers! Games will take place Tuesday, July 8 through Sunday, July 13. The Cannon Ballers will take on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans! Fireworks will follow the Friday and Saturday games.

Gem Theatre $2 Summer Matinees | Gem Theatre 10 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. | July 8 & July 10

Beat the heat this week with the Gem Theatre’s Summer Movie Matinees! Join us at the Gem Theatre tomorrow, Tuesday, July 8 for a showing of Happy Feet and Thursday, July 10 for a showing of the film, Abominable. Tickets are $2 per person and show times are 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on both Tuesday and Thursday. The Gem Theatre is located at 111 Laureate Way.

Thursdays on Main: Band of Oz | Veterans Park | 6 p.m., Thursday, July 10

Join us in Veterans Park at 6 p.m., this Thursday, July 10 for Thursdays on Main featuring Band of Oz. Veterans Park is located at 119 N. Main Street. 

The concert is free to the public. Children 18 & under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No pets or smoking please.

Food/drinks will be available for purchase, or attendees can bring their own food and nonalcoholic drinks. Coolers are allowed with no outside alcohol. Coolers are subject to search. Lawn chairs are permitted.

Concert in the Park: Marshall Tucker Band | Village Park | 7 p.m., Saturday, July 12

The Concert in the Park Series is back this week featuring the Marshall Tucker Band! The concert will take place at Village Park at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. 

The concert is free to the public. Children 18 & under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs. No pets or smoking please. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

A free shuttle is available. Please take time to review the parking map and shuttle stops. The shuttle service will be for concertgoers and will run from 5-11 p.m. Shuttle stops will be at the Cabarrus Health Alliance, the Nova Credit Union Overflow lot, City Hall, the NCRC Parking Deck and Village Park. The concert and shuttle are free to the public.
