Loop the Loop
Loop the Loop is part of the City's Discover a Healthy Life Initiative and the Cabarrus Health Alliance REACH program. Route distances are designated by different colors. Signage and sidewalk markers will aid you as you complete the loops around the downtown core of the City.
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in a unique series featuring the best area 5K fun runs/ walks held in the City of Kannapolis, NC. Runners/ walkers are encouraged to participate in the entire series of races (8). Awards will be presented to anyone who finishes at least five events. For those who participate and finish all eight events, there will be special recognition.

Cooking for a Healthy Life is the newest Discover a Healthy Life initiative to encourage everyone to see cooking as a cornerstone of a healthy life. The website offers free and easy recipes, cooking tips, and healthy news.
Community Yoga at Cabarrus Health Alliance
Zumba Latina is offered for free at Shady Brook Elementary.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6-7 p.m.
This class is a perfect introductory class for people at all levels of fitness. Students will learn the fundamentals of proper alignment as well as how to breathe fully. Use of props will be encouraged to support the body and make the poses comfortable. Bring your own mat if you have one.
The 5210 League
The 5210 League is a group of individuals dedicated to leading a healthy and active life. Led by the knowledgeable Dr. Fit and the ever-moving, always-in-motion Action Ace, the league strives to teach families how to be healthy together. By eating more fruits and vegetables, being physically active for at least one hour per day, limiting recreational screen time, and avoiding sugary drinks, your family can join the League and make the pledge to be healthy together.
