City of Kannapolis Mobile Recreation Van Delivers Summer Fun 

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Kannapolis Parks & Recreation is hitting the road this summer to bring free recreation opportunities directly to local neighborhoods through its Mobile Recreation Van program. 

On Mondays and Wednesdays, from now thru July 29, the Mobile Recreation Van will visit Forest Park and Shady Brooke Elementary Schools, offering children and families a fun, safe way to stay active during the summer months. Packed with games, sports equipment, and engaging activities, the Mobile Recreation Van creates positive experiences while encouraging outdoor play and community.  

The Mobile Recreation Van will be available from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the following locations: 

Mondays: Forest Park Elementary School (1333 Forest Park Dr.) 

Wednesdays: Shady Brook Elementary School (903 Rogers Lake Rd.) 

All activities are free and open to children of all ages. No registration is required.
