Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, from 3pm to 5pm at the Rider Transit Center, 45 Transit Court NW, Concord, for the purpose of soliciting input regarding proposed changes to the Rider Transit System as a result of proposed budget reductions by the City of Kannapolis, including: the elimination of the current Brown Route; modification of the current Blue Route; and elimination of weekend service on the Blue and Green Routes. Citizens are invited to make written or oral comments in person. The proposed changes will be available for public inspection in the Rider Transit Center at 45 Transit Ct, Concord, NC 28025, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. weekdays and can be found on Rider Transit's website at http://ckrider.com

Recommended modifications and eliminations are for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, and would be effective 7/1/2026.
