Latasha Wallace receives the keys to her new home from Mayor Darrell Hinnant as Habitat for Humanity representatives Katie Page and Dr. Tom Cabaniss look on. Latasha’s home on Foster Street was built by community groups in the county, including Kannapolis employees. She and her daughter were also presented with an American flag for the home. This the sixth house the City of Kannapolis has helped build with Habitat. Homebuyers must meet certain standards to qualify and complete many hours of hands-on construction at their new home.
