All City of Kannapolis offices will be closed from Friday, December 22 until Tuesday, December 26, in observance of the Christmas holiday. There will be no garbage and recycling collection service on Monday, December 25. Garbage and recycling collection will operate on a one-day delay with Monday’s route collected on Tuesday and so forth for the rest of the week. There will be no yard waste, limb or loose-leaf collection Friday, December 22 - Tuesday, December 26 and no yard debris collection on Saturday, December 30.
Offices will also be closed on January 1, 2024, in observance of the New Year. There will be no delay in garbage and recycling collection service over the holiday, however, there will be no yard waste, limb or loose-leaf collection Monday, January 1, 2024.
