It’s another awesome week to Discover Fun in Kannapolis! This week includes the return of the Village Park Concert Series. Sister Sledge, featuring Sledgendary will perform at 7 p.m. this Saturday. They will perform all of their greatest hits during this free concert.

Swanee Theatre: Blue Monday | 8 p.m., Friday, July 25 

Join us at the Swanee on Friday, July 25 for Blue Monday! Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m.  

Blue Monday, is a 80’s and 90’s tribute band performs MTV classic hits! The band has opened for REO Speedwagon and has played in many famous venues across the United States. With 20 years of experience playing together, Blue Monday will not disappoint.

Concert in the Park: Sister Sledge with Sledgendary | Village Park | 7 p.m., Saturday, July 26 

The Concert in the Park Series is back this week featuring Sister Sledge with Sledgendary! The concert will take place at Village Park at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 26.  

The concert is free to the public. Children 18 & under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs. No pets or smoking please. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. 

Sister Sledgefeaturing Sledgendary, continues the group's sensational legacy. Under the vocal direction of founding member Debbie Sledge and the genius of musical director Dominic Amato, along with an ensemble of insanely talented musicians, the group has achieved a 'Sledgendary' place in the entertainment industry. Specializing in BRINGING THE PARTY with the family's classic hits, Debbie Sledge, Camille Sledge, Tanya Tiet, Thaddeus Sledge and David Sledge make one funky family affair. A free shuttle is available. Please take time to review the parking map and shuttle stops. The shuttle service will run from 5-11 p.m. Shuttle stops are at the Cabarrus Health Alliance, the Nova Credit Union Overflow lot, City Hall, the NCRC Parking Deck and Village Park.
