Kannapolis City Council Members Ryan Dayvault and Tom Kincaid were sworn in to serve new terms on Monday night. Darrell Jackson was also sworn in to serve a term on the council. Superior Court Judge Martin McGee administered the oath of office for the council members.
This is the third term for Council Members Dayvault and Kincaid. Darrell Jackson was elected in November. He previously served one term of office from 2013-2017.
During the meeting, Van Rowell was selected to serve as Mayor Pro-Tem. He replaces Outgoing Mayor Pro Team Roger Haas who did not seek reelection.
