⭐ Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K

The Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K takes runners and walkers on a truly one‑of‑a‑kind course through downtown Kannapolis, Village Park, and finally into Atrium Health Ballpark — where you’ll finish with a lap around the bases and cross the finish line directly on home plate. It’s one of the most unique race experiences in the region.
This exciting run begins outside the Cannon Ballers’ home stadium and winds through some of Kannapolis’ most iconic areas before returning to the ballpark for a memorable finish.
Registration includes a limited‑edition performance t‑shirt (while supplies last) and a ticket to the Cannon Ballers Starry Night game on August 15 at 7:00 PM. All proceeds from the Shooting Star 5K benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, making every step meaningful.
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in this signature event, part of the 2026 Run Kannapolis Race Series — a community tradition that has welcomed thousands over the years. Run Kannapolis is part of the City of Kannapolis’ Discover a Healthy Life brand and is co‑sponsored by Atrium Health.
