NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

Pursuant to the request of City Council, a Special Meeting of the Kannapolis City
Council has been set for Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. in the Council Conference Room at City Hall, 401 Laureate Way, Kannapolis, NC
28081.
The purpose of the meeting is to hold a closed session pursuant to N.C.G.S. §
143-318.11(a)(3) to consult with an attorney in order to preserve the attorneyclient
privilege and N.C.G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(6) for the purpose of discussing
personnel matters and, in the discretion of City Council, to make appointment
pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 160A-147 in open session.
