Kannapolis Police Department is proud to announce that Officer Matthew Hoehman has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant assigned to Patrol Squad B.  Hoehman began his career with Kannapolis Police Department as a Patrol Officer in 2014. His most recent assignment was in the Traffic Enforcement Division. He was designated as Police Officer I in 2017 and Police Officer II in 2020. N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews are actively working on every section of N.C. 3 from Kannapolis Parkway to Loop Road, as work continues to widen the existing road to a four-lane divided roadway.
