Notice to Utility Bill Customers
We are in the process of updating our network and phone systems. During the month of March 2022 your utility bill may be late in arriving. As a result, we will not assess late fees or disconnect anyone’s utility service for nonpayment during the month of March.
Your bill may also show a total dollar and usage amount that is not correct. Please refer to the lines on the bill that state current dollar/usage amount. This is the amount you will currently owe.
Any previous amounts you have paid are accounted for and have been credited to your account. All March payments will be reflected on the April bill.
Bank draft customers - The City of Kannapolis will perform one bank draft on your April month end due date. This draft will consist of your two monthly payments that have due dates in March and April. Please ensure you have funds available by your April due date (either 4/8/2022 or 4/25/2022). If you have already paid your bill, due to the delay, only the balance remaining will be drafted. If you have a $0 balance, you will not be drafted.
