Kannapolis Fire Safety Educator Maria Bostian has received an award from the North Carolina Fire and Life Safety Education Council. Bostian received the B.T. Fowler Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in fire and life safety education.
Bostian has been in fire and life safety with fire departments for 13 years and has worked for the Kannapolis Fire Department for nine years. The Fowler Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes educators for a minimum of ten years of service, leadership, and their positive impact on their community and state.
