Register for these fun holiday activies that you can do as a family while safe at home. Kits include supplies and instructions so you dont have to worry about being an expert!
While we miss seeing everyone in our parks and at our programs, it is important to us to continue to bring the fun to you until we can resume normal programming and events.
Kits may be picked up in the Parks and Recreation Office at City Hall, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm or drive through style on the following pick-up dates:
- Thurs Nov 19th from 5-7
- Thurs Dec 3rd from 5-7
- Thurs Dec 17th from 5-7
- Tues Dec 22nd from 5-7
TURKEY TIME THANKSGIVING CRAFT KIT (REGISTER)
Enjoy a Turkey Themed Take Home Craft Kit just in time for Thanksgiving!
Each Turkey Time kit will include:
- 1 - 8 inch by 10 inch canvas for Turkey Hand Print Craft
- Please note, each canvas is big enough to fit two turkey hands!
- Variety of paint colors
- Paint brush
- "Thankful For" fall leaves family activity
- Additional Thanksgiving themed goodies

Greetings From the North Pole: Custom Santa Letters (Register)
See your child's face light up when they recieve a letter in the mail from Santa, direct from the North Pole!
Santa letters will be customized with your child's details and mailed directly to them from the North Pole (with a North Pole, Alaska postmark).
Orders are due November 30th. Please expect letters to arrive in Mid-December.
Letters are just $2 each and will include the personalized letter from Santa, with a decorative envelope and postage from the North Pole.
CHRISTMAS MYSTERY CRAFT & ACTIVITY GRAB BAG (REGISTER)
Keep the kids busy this holiday season with a grab bag of assorted Christmas Crafts, activities and other holiday themed goodies.
Go ahead, order more than one. You never know what you'll get! Kits are just $5.00 each.
- Each kit contains a 3 - 4 crafts suitable for school age children and even adults.

Elf on a Shelf - 25 days of mischeif. (REGISTER)
If you've ever struggled with remembering to move your elf or coming up with ideas how your elf will move this is the perfect kit for you, parents! 25 days of pre-packaged, pre-planned ideas for how your elf will move. *Elf NOT included!
Kits are $20 and includes all supplies needed for your Elf to create 25 days of mischief.

Holly Jolly Popcorn Kits (REGISTER)
Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!
We’re bring back some nostalgia with some old favorites – popcorn balls and painted popcorn garland. Each kit contains all the supplies (including the popcorn) and instructions necessary to make popcorn balls and 3 – 4 feet of popcorn garland.
Gather the kids and start making memories.

TAKE & BAKE: SUGAR COOKIE KIT (REGISTER)
A family tradition in the making. Use this kit to make approx. 2 doz sugar cookies for yourself, your neighbors and friends, or for Santa.
Kits are just $8.00 each and include:
- Ingredients and instructions to bake cookies (egg & butter not included)
- Holiday Cookie Cutter
- Spatula to mix cookie dough

CINNAMON ORNAMENT TAKE HOME KIT (REGISTER)
Bake up some new holiday memories with a batch of Cinnamon Ornaments!
Cinnamon ornaments are the perfect holiday fun activity for families. Ornaments are simple to make and the sweet aroma of cinnamon will last for years to come. Each Cinnamon Ornament kit will include:
- One container of ground cinnamon
- One container of unsweetened applesauce
- Ribbon
- Two cookie cutters
- Straw (for hole punching)
- Instructions for baking your cinnamon ornaments at home
Each kit should make approximately 2-4 ornaments which can be decorated with paint (not included) or left un-decorated for a simple, classic look! Please note, after registration you will be contacted regarding pick up of your craft kit. All pick ups will take place at Kannapolis City Hall, drive thru style.
